Suffolk's Top Twenty Attractive Places to Visit

The poll will only allow 20 entries, I have picked what I consider the Top Twenty Most Attractive Places to Visit in Suffolk, you may have a different viewpoint [sic] if so why not tell us which is yours and why

These are not listed in any particular order but please place your tick

I have had to omit many places eg Debenham, Eye, Hadleigh, Snape Maltings, Iken Cliffs, Ickworth House, Somerleyton Hall etc

I would have thought that Thorpeness would have been on this list, a beautiful place to be on any fine day, boating on the mere, walking on the beach, or strolling around the nature reserve.

I would love to own one of those wooden houses overlooking the mere but I would have to win he lottery for that to happen, I guess I will just have to dream on

I chose Flatford, mainly because Its only down the from where I live (East Bergholt)

Not far behind would be Pin Mill and the Ipswich Docks, mainly because im such a big boating fan.

One of my ex girlfriends lives in Kersey, so have been there many times and the chuch stands out for miles when it is lit up at night.

I dont think that I have been to Lavenham for about 14 years!

Bury St Edmunds Abbey Gardens must rank as one of my favourite relaxing places to visit in the summer months, I haven't been this year yet but will make the annual pilgrimage soon
