The source here is at Lopham & Redgrave Fen,  but the end is at Burgh Castle discharging  into Breydon Water near Great Yarmouth. Westbound from Lopham/Redgrave the springs just a few yards from The Waveney becomes The Little Ouse

Whilst I have walked some of these stretches of River, it is too far from home to frequent these stretches too often. The stretches at Bressingham, Diss Golf Course, Scole, Harleston and Lakes, Homersfield, Flixton, Bungay and Beccles I know. From here I have been along the river by pleasure boat to Oulton Broad on a number of occasions

If anyone visits The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum at Flixton there is a short walk at the rear of the hangars, here there is a boardwalk called The Adair Walk, this takes you to The River Waveney. The walk ceases where there is a picnic bench and platforms, this appears OK for wheelchair/pushchair access also

From Flixton above and going upstream the oldest surviving concrete bridge in the UK can be found spanning The river Waveney at Homersfield

In referring to The River Waveney this discharges into Breydon Water near Great Yarmouth into The River Yare by Burgh Castle.
