The Church of All Saints originally had a central tower, only the lower section of this remains today. I seem to recall there being a church door key with the shape of IKE as being the part that inserted into the lock

When the USAF used RAF Bent'waters airfield the main road through Eyke used to be packed with cars going to and fro Woodbridge area and the base, things are a little quieter today
This is an interesting sign at Eyke, as there is a key depicted, this was the original key that unlocked the Church Door, it is now in the British Museum but the variation spelling of Eyke is IKE and if you look to see how the key is forged you will see the letters spelling the village name
