My Grandmother Clara Partridge was born in Monks Eleigh in 1888 but her elder sister Emily Partridge was born in Kettlebaston year 1880. Parents Isaac and Emily Partridge (nee Butcher) were both born in Monks Eleigh so I am wondering if the family lived for a short while in Kettlebaston because of Isaac's work (ag lab). It looks a lovely village. I must get to visit it soon.
