Trimley St Martin


Although the two Trimleys are joined, I will separate the two parishes, St Martin going down to the River Orwell on to the Marshes here you can see the Felixstowe Port cranes from a couple of miles away on a late summers day

Beyond Loompit Lake and heading towards Felixstowe there is a lovely stretch of foreshore Salt Marsh and Cliffs with good views, at mid tide the foreshore is quite sandy

On the picture above if you travel to the point this is where there is a section of salt marsh, sea pea and thrift survives on here
