Lovely village with a crinkle crankle wall, nice pub, a good Riverside walk (Deben) a church that has many hatchments and a farm park ideal for the kiddies
Easton Farm Park has a Victorian working dairy, a working Blacksmiths and many outbuildings with much agricultural machinery within
On my last visit The White Horse Inn looked absolutely resplendent with a blaze of colourful flowers adorning the outside walls. There are three unusual round thatched houses in the village with half moon rounded dormer windows .
Once Easton could boast the longest crinkle crankle wall in the world, but a few years ago a property developer breached this, I wonder how they got planning permission for that one??
All Saints Church has a tower base which is square and surmounted by an octagonal top, the triple sedilia [Priests seats] date from c 1300, the internal nave walls lean outwards!
There is a circular walk [signposted] through Alder Carr Wood and along the River Deben which was serene to say the least.......
