Brandon is in Breckland, there is the huge USAF Fighter Base of Lakenheath nearby, these F-15E's  can regularly be seen flying low over the town. There is a beautiful country park within walking distance of the town centre with many specimen trees.

If you visit the church where the chancel dates back 700 years, then take a trip to the riverside and then on to the nearby Grimes Graves where the flintknappers plied their trade with many buildings in Brandon and the surrounding area are faced with flint, some of which are knapped

Brandon Country Park lies just a few hundred yards from the town centre, to visit the town a visit to the Country Park is a must also a very nice walk along the banks of the Little Ouse River
