A lovely little town now some way off the main road but exploring Eye will open the other one! The buildings are lovely and if you are able to climb the castle mound you get some magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and this excellent church, do look at the flint flushwork on the tower

I took several pictures of Eye yesterday, just click on the photograph and press Next [top right] to see more pics. There are a lot of fine buildings some old some not so.

This bus shelter caught my eye which appeared in art nouveau style

The Guildhall at Eye is magnificent, this must rate as one of Suffolks most beautiful buildings
