I had the opportunity to visit Hadleigh yesterday and would consider the Town to be the most complete medieval town in all of Suffolk. I will upload some photos in the coming days
Hadleigh Church of St Mary, one of our greatest assets, she looks magnificent pointing a finger [the spire] at the sky from the very centre of this medieval town, these are my notes and those of the church from my visits over the years
Tower is from 12c
The font dates from 1350
The Nave roof was constructed c1450
The organ dates from 1738
A window features Rowland Taylor one time Rector who was burnt at the stake in the 16c
It could be argued that St Mary's Hadleigh is the most pleasing large church of the county
