The Brett has a source somewhere near to Lavenham and runs East through some lovely villages such as Monks and Brent Eleigh, Chelsworth, via Semer, turning South to the town of Hadleigh running just slightly West of the town centre, here it broadens and discharges into The Stour by Higham Hall, Higham

The River Brett at Chelsworth taken from the bridge opposite The Pub



Here it is seen at its best running through Hadleigh, the riverside walk is nice anytime of the year but I took this one early spring before too much foliage was seen on the trees
