Probably one of the best places to spot birds in Suffolk is on The River Alde, if the tidal conditions are right the whole stretch of the river for half a mile or more from Iken church is awash with all sorts of seabirds and waders, they number in their thousands as here in this distant shot from above Iken Cliffs, a good pair of binos or a scope are essential
