We are fortunate in Suffolk to have some very fine Fonts, some of them sadly have been defaced. The stone can be Caen or Purbeck some are marble, most tell a story this one at Monk Soham is one of the seven sided 7-sacrament fonts



This one at Orford is between 600 & 700 years of age and probably predates the existing church



This 7-sacrament at Southwold is somewhat mutilated as can be seen on the centre panel, the cover is huge and modern in comparison

A Tournai Font from Belgium, only 60 exist, 10 of which are in england, two in Ipswich and one other at Boulge, this one at St peter's Ipswich
