One of those exhibits was a steam engine built by R Garrett & Sons, Engineers, Leiston Works.  I think it might have been manufactured arounf the turn of the 20th century but wondered if anyone here might have a better idea.

Besides the Garratt nameplate, the engine had two other markings that could be read.  The first, on a small plate on the extreme left of the photo below, was "E 15".  The second marking, on the rear end plate of what I think is the boiler, was: P. G. and on a line below that inscription was "Reg No. 513".

That is wonderful Laurie, I wonder if The Long Shop Museum in Leiston know about this, it might be worth a GOOGLE and to contact them..........
