The church in the High Street has a Nave Roof which beggars belief, there is not a nail holding this roof together. When inside the church the leaflet explains the best way to view the roof is to a lie on your back on a pew and imagine the roof is an upturned galley ship. If it is the Mustard Pot then it definately came from the A140 at brockford. The turn off for Mendlesham. My Grandmother was a Lambert from Mendlesham and I remember her speaking about it every time we passed it. It was very close to where the railway line went under the A140 to Brockford Station. She used to talk about a young girl being killed at Medlesham Station
