A very elegant bird is the Little Egret, these are increasing in numbers where-ever shallow water is to be found but as deadly as any fishing expert can be, they move their heads on their long necks with lightning speed, there is usually one to be found at Melton Bridge near Woodbridge [this photo], or at Minsmere, Lackford, Lakenheath or Walberswick, the latter placename I encountered six within a hundred yards or so of each other
