George Mealing STEELE

Hi,

I am looking for information regarding my 3rd great grandfather, George Mealing STEELE. I know he was born either 1810 or 1815, or somewhere in between, at Icklingham, Suffolk, England. I want to find out why he left England and came out to Tasmania. I want to also find out who his parents were, and anything else i can find out. Can someone please help??

hi have you tried the site www.rootschat.com it is free to use site and has a suffolk room there i managed to get a lot of help from this site well worth a look also bbc.co.uk/familyhistory is very helpfull site to lots of help there hope this is of some help
