Water/Tide & Windmills

We have quite a few Mills in the County, do you have one near you that you can tell us about or even upload some photos

This one is the old corn mill in Aldeburgh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Green_Mill,_Aldeburgh

Stowmarket. The Museum of East Anglian Life is truly a fascinating place and one of the working exhibits is the mill, originally moved from the now flooded Tattingstone Valley to make way for a new reservoir. Great care was needed to remove and re-erect this structure, on my visit here I was fortunate enough to see the mill working and to get this magnificent skyscape. A pool is flooded from the nearby River Rat to enable the mechanism to function
