Honington/Aden connections

In 1967, I was one of a number of people evacuated out of Aden as part of a major British evacuation during the terrorism of the time. I was a teenager at the time and was accommodated at RAF Honington, in Honington rise. My book, "From barren rocks ... to living stones", details some of that experience. However, beyond the book I am anxious to discover any one who has any memories of those of us who settled as temporary refugees in your midst. For me, Honington was a pleasurable experience and I still appreciate that time along with the people who supported us as we adapted back into the peace of British civilisation.

Incidentally, the book "From barren rocks ... to living stones" is now in the process of being translated into Urdo. A measure of the internatonal attraction the book is getting.
