help please
My wife noticed a strange creature in the fishtank last night. It was about 1/2 inch in length and a light brownish colour. She said it shed a skin. looking at it with a glass I thought it could be a dragonfly. I have a picture so it could be emailed

If you go to Ipswich Museum Tarkey I reckon that they might be able to identify it, they do link up with Colchester Museum these days and also use Colchester Zoo for identifying such species, so I guess that is good way forward........

Thanks John

I have in the meantime been on a fishkeeping forum that I belong to and this is fairly common as a problem. They apparently come in on live plants. Most of ther plants sold are from Singapore.
I have just watched on you tube a nymph attacking a small fish and it was scary. The advice I have recieved is get it out pronto or the little fish will vanish.
