The Church of St Peter with its capped tower and stair turret, the bench ends within are some of the best in suffolk

As per my previous posting regarding Horham and family history connections.
My Maternal great father 'Henry Whitton' (1835-1891) was born in Athelington, an agricultural labourer all his life.
On 7th June this year I visited Athelington and took a few photos as per the attached.
Incidentally, until finding my family link to this small farming Parish, I had never heard of Athelington; and I thought I knew my Suffolk parishes!
