Nettlestead

Nettlestead Church. What a delightful name! The church sits in a pleasant valley and is surrounded by trees, this really is a very peaceful spot. Unfortunately in 1940 a German bomber jettisoned a stick of bombs which severely damaged the tower and the font. The church was reopened in 1950, entry by a lovely brick south porch.
